Audition Information
Southgate Community Players is holding auditions for Steel Magnolias on Sunday, July 16th and Monday, July 17th at 7pm at the Corner Playhouse, 12671 Dix-Toledo in Southgate. Registration will begin 30 minutes prior to start time, please arrive early to allow ample time to register. The audition will consist of readings from the script & one of the monologues listed below. Please prepare the monologue for your first choice role, memorization is not required.
Production dates are October 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th at 7:30pm, and October 15th at 2:30pm. If you have any questions please email southgatecommunityplayers@gmail.com, or message the SCP-Southgate Community Players Facebook page.
Actors must be at least 18 at the time of the audition. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition and will be considered for any and all roles. Roles will be played as the gender written, but actors are encouraged to audition as the gender they identify as. This will be an inclusive cast.
